Short Biography

I was born the son of a cobbler and a midwife. Okay, a lie.

I was born in Nashville, TN into a family of musicians, artists, songwriters, characters, and complete individuals. My favorite game as a child was asking my elders if they knew how to spell words like “dissociative” and “manslaughter.” I played school until I was 16 and, until college, had a social life that revolved around the modern day equivalent of World of Warcraft. Boy, how glad I am that things changed.

Before graduating from high school, I applied to college. I mean that literally. I applied to one college. It was Vanderbilt University. Whether that decision was gutsy or insane remains to be seen, but nevertheless I was accepted and graduated (in hindsight, it was insane).

Since graduating college with a degree in Classical History (focusing primarily on Latin language, grammar, and poetry and a secondary focus on Roman history), I have worked as a personal assistant in the Nashville music circle. Needless to say, my degree isn’t something I utilize on a daily basis, but the lessons I learned from the “college experience” I breathe and use every day.

I spend my days organizing business travel, booking gigs, promoting artists, designing websites, taking phone calls, ignoring phone calls, making phone calls, and wanting to throw my phone into a wind tunnel with naught but soft, Category 3 breezes and a 2x4.

I kid, I kid. I enjoy my work, I live my work, and have come to realize that I am my work.
